I am in a LDR…or at least I think I am. I have only known him for 6 months but have flown to see him twice and him to me once. I am in that frustrated stage though right now where there seems to be a break in communication. But I’m trying my hardest not to give up.

thanks! and thanks so much for commenting! it is really what I wrote this post for, because I would see that the top search was on long distance relationship. I have a feeling that many MANY of us on here are doing that. I fell into this. totally crazy, and wouldn’t be doing it, had it not been for incredible circumstances. He is truly remarkable, wonderful, loving, fabulous, annoying, patience bending, teeth gnashing, the whole shebang all rolled into one. XD

If I may ask, how long have you been doing the LDR thing? (hee, and is it just me, or does it kinda sound like/feel like a cult sometimes? ) it’s great that you are close enough to drive. At this point for me, there are lots of other reasons I want to move to Mexico, and I want to move into a house there on a short term lease on my own. with him coming over frequently I hope. but to give us that chance to see each other without so much time pressure. it is great you have that, to see each other on the weekends, and not have it be this whole “omg its been 2 months and now we have to cram everything in one week” sort of thing ROTFL
